KRIS KLUK, Ph.D., P.E., P.P., - Owner

Dr. Kris Kluk is an experienced engineer of over twenty years in the various disciplines of the field. Dr. Kluk obtained his doctoral degree in structural engineering from the University of Wroclaw, Poland in 1977. He then taught bridge design, steel and concrete design and structural analysis as an assistant professor at the same university. Dr. Kluk developed the fundamentals of designing and constructing railway steel bridges, and the evaluation of existing highway and railroad bridges. Additionally, he developed the procedure of rating a bridge capacity.

Dr. Kluk then moved to America and began to expand his experience. As a project manager he was responsible for the design of water and sewer mains, streets, retaining walls and foundations, as well as, prepare the specifications and cost estimates for various projects. Becoming a City Engineer in Austin Texas, gave Dr. Kluk the responsibility of supervising a Subdivision Review Section. He designed water and sewer mains and sewer lift stations, reviewed the various stages of projects insuring compliance with the appropriate specifications, and estimated the construction costs and schedules of various projects. Also, Dr. Kluk performed "low water pressure" resolutions and created computer models of water main networks. Then Dr. Kluk began a position that found him responsible for the supervision of the structural and environmental departments. He was involved with bridges, sewage treatment plants, lift stations and bulk heading projects, and the evaluation of existing buildings. Here Dr. Kluk also served as a Municipal Engineer, Landfill Engineer and Utility Authority Engineer. Environmentally, his tasks involved managing ECRA projects, landfill monitoring well installations, and prepared applications to NJDEP. Dr. Kluk moved on to be the Chief Engineer of an Engineering and Geology Department where his responsibilities involved the design, supervision and closures of storage tank systems and site remediation investigation. Dr. Kluk was responsible for the design and supervision of monitoring wells and recovery systems, the preparation of reports for the related field services, and estimating construction and manpower costs and time for various projects. He also prepared several designs for building repairs, support and shoring structures required for various soil remediation projects.

Now, Dr. Kluk is the contact person of Kluk Consultants possessing an engineer's licenses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York,Nevada and Texas, and a planner's license in New Jersey utilizing his M.S. in Civil Engineering and Ph.D. in Structural Engineering. He is also a Certified Municipal Engineer.
